I knew from as young as I can remember that I wanted to be an artist and for my life to revolve around creativity.
My Dad taught me to paint with oils when I was 5 years old. I grew up watching him paint and sell his paintings in his gallery in our quiet country town in the Riverina, NSW.
I was dedicated to the art room throughout my entire schooling and as soon as I graduated high school I moved to Melbourne to enrol into one of the best Art Schools in the country.
Before I finished my Visual Arts degree I was already painting, selling and exhibiting around Melbourne and I continue to do this today, 25 years later.
At 37 years old, I became a solo parent, I knew I needed another way to enable my life as an artist to continue, while supporting my children, so I returned to university and I’m now a qualified secondary art teacher, with the dream job of teaching teenagers how to make art, while still pursuing my art practice.
I have vastly traveled this country and others, but now I am settled in the beautiful Clarence Valley of the Mid-North coast of NSW, with my daughters, my new partner, my faithful dog and a farm full of animals.
I have a deeply embedded love of making art and encouraging others to live from a place of creativity.
